My name is John Adjei, and I started JA Catfish Masters with one simple goal — to raise strong, healthy catfish the right way, right here in Accra.
I'm personally at the ponds every day. I check the water, I oversee the feeding, I'm there at harvest. It's not a hands-off operation — I'm involved in every step because that's the only way I can guarantee the quality my buyers expect.
With over 35 years of experience across banking and education — including universities in Europe, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait — I made a deliberate choice to come back to the land. Agribusiness is where the real opportunity is, and catfish farming is something I believe in deeply. I also want to show young people that farming is a serious, rewarding career — not something to look down on.
